Friday logo & illustrations
Friday initially started as a feedback tool to help facilitate better one on ones between managers and the people they manage. As the product matured it has now become mission control for remote work. It allows users to roadmap their day, automate asynchronous updates, and stay connected with their team.
The goal
Friday initially started as a feedback tool to help facilitate better one on ones between managers and the people they manage. As the product matured it has now become mission control for remote work. It allows users to roadmap their day, automate asynchronous updates, and stay connected with their team.
The goal was to design a logo that reflects the business, create some icon illustrations, as well as a larger illustration for their first iteration of the homepage. Throughout the whole process I tried to create a vibe that felt digital, refined but also keep some of qualities that made it seem human. You can see this within the logotype. The geometric F is contrasted with the humanist type. Another theme was “coming together” you can see this in the hero illustration with the two people in their separate bubbles reaching out to give eachother a high five. This is also demonstrated in the icon illustrations. The separate shapes in the icons overlap and fuse together.
